1. How did you feel before Personal Training at Velocity?
Prior to kicking off training at Velocity, I was obese, unhappy, and unhealthy and all round pretty bloody miserable. I hated every single thing about my body, and I hated myself for letting myself get that way. Food for me was an emotional crutch… Angry? I ate, Happy? I ate, Sad? I ate – I ate myself into a clusterfuck of self-loathing. I stopped attending social functions and I attempted to hide behind dark and large clothing and jokes about my weight, and my deeply imbedded love for food…
2. How has Personal Training changed you?
In a physical sense, I am the strongest and healthiest I have ever been. I haven’t even reached all my goals yet, but I feel so much better within my body.
The way I perceive myself has changed.
The way I face daily challenges has changed.
I am stronger, mind body and soul.
3. Why would you recommend Personal Training?
EVERYONE NEEDS A COACH! Every person needs a coach and a support network. And that is what you gain from personal training at Velocity. Changing a life time of habits and coming to terms with the things that make you unhappy about your body is hard. Why would you go it alone? You don’t attempt to service your car on your own… Why? BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU’RE DOING!! It is exactly the same with training.
I have a full support network I can fall back on when things are tough and that is exactly what I need.
